VOCAL STUDY

This class, taught by Cinnabar Artistic Director Emeritus, Elly Lichenstein, is similar to a voice lesson, with the added element of performance. The students are assigned songs to work on and perform in front of the teacher and classmates. The teacher then offers suggestions to improve their performance and/or technique in a safe, supportive learning environment. Students will receive a practice recording. Thereafter, each student will present their work to the class in 15-20-minute “performances,” and are then given feedback and encouragement for improvement. The class will end in a presentation for families and friends.
