Jimmy Gagarin
Jimmy Gagarin (Charlie) Jimmy is very excited to return to the Spreckels stage with Stones in his Pockets. Born and raised in Sonoma County, he has appeared in numerous local productions. Past favorite roles include Dennis in This is Our Youth, Richard in The Lion in Winter, Curly in Of Mice and Men, Timmy in Ham for the Holidays, and Charles Bingley in Pride & Prejudice. His most recent work was as Tom in Sonoma Arts Live’s production of Dinner with Friends. The last show he performed at Spreckels was The Lion in Winter, where he accidentally fell up the stairs twice. Yes, you read that correctly. Fell UP the stairs TWICE. After that national embarrassment, he is now brave enough to return, alongside lifelong friend Sam Coughlin. They last appeared onstage together in an 8th grade production of The Tempest. Yes, it was a load o’ bollicks. But Jimmy believes this reunion will be much better. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Sam Coughlin
Sam Coughlin (Jake) After graduating from Boston University with a BFA in Theater Arts, Sam returned to the Bay Area, where favorite roles include John in After Miss Julie, Albert Einstein in Capacity, Charlie in Mary's Wedding, Judas Iscariot in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and Septimus Hodge in Arcadia. He was last seen playing Wink in Main Stage West's production of Wink. His last show at Spreckels was The Wickham's Christmas at Pemberley, in which he insisted on standing on furniture and throwing things at fellow actors. He is glad to have been allowed back into the building, on condition that he only be allowed to perform in shows with minimal furnishing and props. But the last last laugh is on him...you'll see. He is glad to return to the stage with his old friend Jimmy Gagarin, who has known him since they were wee young bucks, and is courageous (or foolish) enough to brave Sam's outlandish antics.
